Thanks to the generosity of the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, the Master Builders Care Foundation has an early jump on Rampathon®. The Bank of America (BofA) Charitable Foundation approved $6,000 for Rampathon as part of a $23 million philanthropic investment to build and rehab affordable housing, offer foreclosure prevention services and homeowner counseling, and to provide other services intended to invigorate neighborhoods.
More than 300 volunteers gathered on Saturday, May 18 to 2013 mark Rampathon’s 20th anniversar and build 16 ramps at 15 locations throughout King and Snohomish counties.
One might think that after this amount of time association members would feel that Rampathon has become routine. Not so. Just ask Rob Carlisle and Dave Pelton.
On Saturday, May 14, more than 250 volunteers, sponsors, donors and organizers used their skills and resources to construct sixteen wheelchair ramps for some very deserving people.
