Master Builders Care Foundation
Community Service Award
The Care Foundation Board of Directors recently created the Master Builders Care Foundation Community Service Award. The award was born out of a desire to recognize all the wonderful community service performed by members of the Master Builders Association. We are the largest homebuilders association in the country and a driving force in several local industries. Let's become the driving force behind community service too. Let's use our collective strength to help our fellow citizens. At the same time we should make our efforts known so that others can see good work being done.
Many members participate in community service and the Care Foundation recognizes the everyday community service work of our members with this new award. We want to tell your stories, show your pictures and recognize your efforts. We want others to follow in your footsteps. Examples of community service are endless. They include blood drives, fundraisers, building for housing for homeless, cleaning for disabled, painting for nonprofits, serving food, planting gardens, building wheelchair ramps, harvesting crops, counting homeless, mentoring, creating a base of organ donors, restoring wetlands, as well as gathering clothes and furniture.
The nomination period for the award ended September 30, 2012. For more information on the current or future awards, contact the Care Foundation at (425) 451-7920.
