The Master Builders Career Connection's modern, exciting, hands-on building project for high school students just got a facelift and is better than ever. Now, high school students will be able to build a colorful, smart technology home while learning about the different careers available in residential construction.

The program will be presented in two parts:

PART 1 requires physically assembling the high tech structure from the ground up with the guidance of an instructor who will also act as the building inspector. Participants will work in teams and will earn (and lose) points based on their performance, especially in regard to safety.

PART 2 involves an interactive presentation on environmentally beneficial materials and building techniques intertwined with a fun residential construction trivia game based on the quiz show Jeopardy. Topics for this entertaining team-building game will include green building, construction job salaries, building standards, occupations and more! At the end of the program, the team with the most points will get to pick prizes.
